Söllner: "100-fach mehr" KI für AMD, Intel, Nvidia; Humanoid-Geheimtipp, BYD, Xiaomi, SMA, SDI, Joby
This episode of the Hotstock Report focuses on AI, chips, flying taxis, and humanoid robots. The host reports strong portfolio gains (over 500%) and analyzes which sectors and individual stocks still offer potential.
🤖 Flying Taxis: Tailwind from the USA
- Joby & Archer (USA) are the hot candidates. They have strong shareholders (Toyota) and $1.5 billion in cash, but need to enter production soon.
- Joby and Archer show short-term bullish signals after a consolidation.
- Ehang (China), on the other hand, is in a downtrend and recently disappointed with its figures.
- Certification is expected no earlier than end of 2026. The range of US models is around 200 km.
- Germany is no longer present in the flying taxi market (Lilium went bankrupt, China bought the patents).
🇨🇳 Chinese Stocks: Between Opportunities and Risks
- Xiaomi remains a host favorite. He sees a good entry point. New SUV/sedan with a range of up to 900 km is in high demand (80,000 orders in hours). Market entry in Germany planned for 2027 („Taycan killer at half the price“).
- BYD is more stable than Xiaopeng. Shows bottoming formation. P/E ratio of 15 is cheap. Unveiled a super sports car with 1,000 HP (0-100 km/h in 2 seconds) for about €50,000. Technologically strong, but the brand still needs time.
- Baidu is recommended as a Chinese Google alternative (P/E 15). Currently sluggish, but: robotaxis are ubiquitous in China. The IPO plans of its chip subsidiary (worth $15 billion) are a catalyst. The market in China sees robots more as helpers than threats.
💾 Chips & Semiconductors: Elmos, AT&S, Intel and the AI Revolution
- Elmos Semiconductor (Europe): +100% in Depot 2030. Benefits from the growth of sensors in cars (from 70 to 200 units). New opportunity: Humanoid robots require up to 120 chips/sensors – a completely new multi-billion dollar market.
- Intel: The „Hero of the Week“. CPU boom due to AI. In inferencing, the CPU to GPU ratio is again extremely important (1:1). Intel, with a market cap of $600-700 billion, is still a fraction of Nvidia ($5,000 billion), so it has catch-up potential. Analysts are raising price targets.
- Chip demand is booming: The cost of AI tokens has fallen by 90%, massively increasing demand (10x, perhaps 100x). Nvidia remains the strongest player.
- ASM International (Netherlands): Benefits from the atomic layer process, a special technique for faster AI chips. Market doubling expected by 2030.
- Infineon (Germany): Focused on power semiconductors for data centers and humanoid robots.
⚡️ Energy & Infrastructure: Hochtief and the Data Center Boom
- Hochtief: The construction company is an AI investment (over 400% gain). Its subsidiary Turner builds AI power plants, e.g., for Meta. The demand is huge: $50 billion construction cost for 1 gigawatt can be amortized in 2-3 years.
- Samsung SDI: New major customer: Amazon for US data center backup batteries (billion-dollar orders). Also Mercedes, BMW are clients. A new multi-billion dollar market.
- SMA Solar: Benefits from the energy transition (inverters, storage). The storage market in Germany is booming, including on a large scale.
🤖 Humanoid Robots: Harmonic Drive as a Supplier
- Harmonic Drive (speculative, P/E 100): Direct beneficiary of humanoid robots (30 joints). Elon Musk confirms: The majority of costs are in the moving parts. Also supplies Fanuc.
- Robotics progress is enormous: Robot hands are becoming increasingly dexterous. First tests at airports (luggage) and in households are underway.
💰 Portfolio & Bitcoin: Tactics
- The Depot 2030 has broken through 500% gains. Strategy: let winners run, take partial profits on hyped stocks.
- Bitcoin: Moderate recovery (counter-move in a downtrend). Bullish long-term, but currently AI is more exciting. No entry now, but keeping an eye on it.
