On February 2, 2008, 24-year-old real estate agent Lindsay Buziak was brutally murdered in an empty house in Victoria, Canada. The case remains one of Canada's most puzzling cold cases.

The Crime

• At 5:30 PM, witnesses see Lindsay meeting a man and a woman outside the house. The woman wears a striking colorful dress (black-red-white pattern). They shake hands.
• Shortly after entering (5:38 PM), Jason texts her – she never reads it.
• At 5:41 PM, a pocket dial is made from Lindsay's phone, likely from a fall or struggle – time of attack.
• Jason and his friend Cohen Oldman arrive at 5:45 PM, see movement behind the door. No one answers; door is locked.
• Cohen enters through the patio door, finds Lindsay upstairs in the master bedroom – covered in blood, stabbed multiple times. CPR fails.

Forensic Findings

• Cause of death: Massive blood loss from multiple stab wounds (knife or sharp blade). No defensive wounds – surprise attack from behind.
• Scene: Few usable traces – no foreign DNA, hairs, fibers, or weapon. Only bloody footprints and fingerprints from Jason and Cohen.
